Nominate The Dispatcher of The Year for Navigator 2020

Every year, IAED's Navigator Conference recognizes a Dispatcher Of The Year, based on submissions by 911 centers across the country. This year is no different, and the cutoff date is this Sunday, February 16th.

From IAED:

“We want the emergency dispatcher who exemplifies everything the IAED strives to teach and emulate in the public safety world - that of a compliant, passionate, and dedicated communications professional. This person will play a larger role in the success of their agency and to the Academy as a whole through their efforts and ability”.

Nominations can be submitted through the official Navigator website, and must include a photo of the nominee as well as an audio file of a call taken by the nominee involving a difficult caller, extraordinary circumstance or positive outcome that exemplifies why they are deserving of the award.

From the IAED site, Navigator is “the world’s foremost premier education conference built around public safety emergency communications and call processing.“ The conference focuses on providing educational and inspirational experiences to it’s attendees, and features popular keynote speakers and displays of cutting-edge technology in the field of emergency management.

This year’s conference is from April 29th-May 1st at Disney’s Coronado Springs resort in Orlando, Florida; We will be presenting our flagship course “The Hero's Choice: Stress Reduction Strategies for The Emergency Dispatcher” during the conference and want to see you there! Those interested in attending can register at the conference’s official site.
