Announcing A Free Showing of "The Hero's Choice" In Waltham, MA
Emergency dispatchers provide help to people in need, but how often do dispatchers take care of themselves when facing personal challenges and struggles?
In our course The Hero’s Choice: Stress Reduction Strategies in the Workplace for Emergency Dispatchers, American Emergency Preparedness worked with active dispatchers and professional clinicians to develop a four hour course that teaches a model of fundamentals for managing the effects of workplace stress to support a healthier, more sustainable workforce. The Hero’s Choice is the second course in our upcoming Bridging The Gap Series, a collection of stand-alone courses designed to empower 911 professionals to acheive a more positive work environment.
The next public showing of our Hero’ Choice course will be held at The Embassy Suites Hastings Room (550 Winter St.) in Waltham, MA on Monday, November 18th between Noon and 4pm. The course will be free to the public, and refreshments will be available. We look forward to seeing you there!
